About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and digitally capable Operations Associate to join our team. This hybrid role combines hands-on facility responsibilities with digital platform management. You’ll help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming fitness space while managing key tools like WooCommerce, WordPress, WPBakery, LearnDash, and Google Analytics.

The ideal candidate thrives in both physical and digital environments — someone who can clean the gym floor, assist a client, and troubleshoot a product page layout without skipping a beat.


Key Responsibilities

🏢 Facility Operations

  • Open and close the facility according to established SOPs
  • Maintain cleanliness of gym areas: equipment, floors, locker rooms, restrooms, laundry
  • Manage towel processing, inventory restocking, and supply control
  • Monitor HVAC, lighting, and ventilation systems for safety and efficiency
  • Respond to client needs, assist with orientation, and track trainer sessions
  • Respond promptly to real-time alerts from the call button system carried during your shift
  • Monitor internal updates via the team’s WhatsApp group and acknowledge important operational messages with a timely reaction

💻 Digital & Retail Operations

  • Update product listings, pricing, and inventory in WooCommerce
  • Edit and maintain website content using WordPress (backend) and WPBakery Page Builder
  • Upload and manage courses, users, and reports in LearnDash LMS
  • Interpret website engagement and traffic trends using Google Analytics
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common site/content issues (layout errors, plugin conflicts, etc.)
  • Ensure uploaded images are in optimized formats (JPEG, PNG, WebP), properly compressed, and include alt text
  • Apply basic SEO practices in content and page updates (headings, keywords, metadata)
  • Post schedule changes and internal updates on the website
  • Operate the POS system and handle retail transactions with accuracy (cash/card)
  • Replenish, track, and document inventory of merchandise and consumables using the Product Tracking Sheet
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure alignment between physical and digital stock

Requirements

  • Proficiency in WooCommerce for e-commerce product and inventory management
  • Advanced experience in WordPress backend and WPBakery Page Builder
  • Strong working knowledge of LearnDash LMS (user access, course structure, reporting)
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics and how to apply insights
  • Experience with POS systems and responsible cash/card handling
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and web-optimized image practices
  • Comfortable with first-line troubleshooting of digital platform issues
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform active, on-your-feet tasks (e.g., re-racking weights, restocking supplies)
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Access to WhatsApp for internal updates (informational use only, not for direct communication)
  • High personal integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Strong interest in long-term growth within the company and willingness to take on expanded responsibilities over time
  • Working knowledge of sports nutrition products, including basic understanding of supplements, recovery drinks, and protein bars; ability to answer customer questions and provide guidance based on product features
  • Willingness to stay informed as the product range expands

🕒 Schedule & Work Conditions

  • We welcome candidates who are available to work at least two shifts per week.
  • On-site role at our San Francisco location
  • Shifts are typically 5–7 hours, including early mornings (starting at 5:45 AM), evenings, and weekends
  • Flexible scheduling is part of the role, and candidates must be willing to work a range of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Punctuality and consistency remain essential.

Assessment & Hiring Process

Compensation will be determined based on the outcome of the assessment and final interview. Salary range will reflect the candidate’s demonstrated ability to meet the digital and operational requirements outlined in this description.

Final-stage candidates will be invited to complete a mandatory on-site practical assessment, where they will demonstrate hands-on ability to work with WordPress, WooCommerce, LearnDash, WPBakery, and basic troubleshooting scenarios. This is a required step prior to the final interview.
